UPS 226 HAC HIGH ACID CERAMIC has been designed to upgrade and enhance the performance of metal surfaces with long-term erosion and corrosion protection in combination with excellent chemical resistance.
UPS 226 HAC will protect process operating equipment in contact with high aggressive acids and chemicals at elevated temperatures.
Resists up to 110°C (230°F) in continuous immersion
Designed for application by brush or squeegee
Exhibits excellent adhesion to correctly prepared metal surfaces
Excellent chemical resistance
High compressive strength
Outstanding long-term erosion and corrosion protection
Primarily designed for resurfacing and lining metal components
No shrinkage, distortion or expansion
Can be applied in a single coat at 700-900 microns

The product demonstrates resistance to a wide variety of inorganic acids, alkalis’, salts and organic media
