UPS 519 HD HEAVY DUTY CERAMIC has been specially developed to resurface equipment subject to medium sliding abrasion.
Once cured UPS 519 HD will resist deformation damaged and wear proving long-term abrasion resistance. It will not corrode and is highly resistant to a wide range of industrial chemicals.
Where equipment is subject to sever abrasion, UPS 241 HDX HEAVY DUTY CERAMIC X has been developed.
Excellent adhesion to correctly prepared metal surfaces
Ideal for fluid with high solids content
Will not corrode
High mechanical strength
Long working life
Solvent free epoxy repair composite which contains 0.2 – 1.5mm hardened ceramic beads
Designed for application by trowel or spatula at thickness up to 6mm (240mil)
Solvent free allowing for application in confined spaces
No hot work required – Application and cure at ambient temperature
Formally known as TR 240 / Cerami-Tech HG / HG 519
Applications for UPS 519 HD HEAVY DUTY CERAMIC include:
Chutes
Pipe bends
Hoppers
Pump casings, etc., which are subject to high abrasive wear
