UPS 19500/3/4/5 SPRK THISTLEBOND SMALL PIPE REPAIR KIT has been designed to put all products required to carry out emergency repairs to leaking pipework.

Many industries and marine companies today are suffering from unplanned small pipe leaks that need an instant repair solution. The leaks can seriously affect the company’s ability to continue to manufacture and make profits.

To prevent the replacement of pipework - Unique Polymer Systems can supply a long-term solution that enables full repair whilst allowing full protection / plant operation to continue.

PRODUCT FEATURES & BENEFITS

By utilizing UPS 19601/3/4/5 PR Emergency Pipe Repair Bandage –Iimmediate and cost-effective repairs can be carried out

The end result can offer long term protection at a working temperature of 270°C and at pressures ranging from 10 bar (150psi) through to 27 bar (400psi) if used in conjunction with UPS 19060 SG and a multi wraps

Surface preparation is at a minimum due to the surface tolerant characteristics of the UPS 19601/3/4/5 PR

The finished repair can seal effectively after only 5 minutes with full cure after 30 minutes

UPS 19601/3/4/5 PR Pipe Repair Bandage is fully WRAS approved for contact with potable water

UPS 19060 SG THISTLEBOND STICK GRADE METAL –
This unique two-part epoxy stick is essentially used to ‘plug’ the damaged area prior to sealing.

UPS 19601/3/4/5 PR THISTLEBOND EMERGENCY PIPE REPAIR BANDAGE
Single pack moisture cured pre-impregnated polyurethane fiberglass bandage which provides the final layer of protection to the leaking pipe work.

This reusable Velcro strap is used to hold the UPS 19060 SG ‘plug' in place prior to wrapping with the UPS 19601/3/4/5 PR

Please note that the coverage rates quoted are theoretical and don't take into consideration the profile or condition of the surface being repaired

HEAT RESISTANCE

Suitable for long-term water immersion at temperatures up to 70°C (158°F)
and intermittent contact with pressured steam up to 120°C (248°F).

Resistant to dry heat in excess of 200°C (392°F) dependent on load.

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE

The product demonstrates resistance to a wide variety of inorganic acids, alkalis’, salts and organic media.
