UPS 225 HT HIGH TEMPERATURE CERAMIC has been engineered to enhance conventional materials of construction and to protect equipment operating in contact with water and aqueous, hydrocarbon mixtures against erosion / corrosion at elevated temperatures.
A two-component solvent free epoxy novolac, once fully cured the coating can withstand temperatures up to 130°C (265°F) in continuous immersion in water, saltwater and crude oil (temperatures are dependent on the operating environment).
Provides a high build protective system capable of resisting wet heat up to 130°C (266°F)
Exhibits excellent adhesion to correctly prepared metal surfaces
No hot work required –
Application and cure at ambient temperature
Excellent chemical resistance
Excellent erosion and corrosion resistance
Designed for application by brush or squeegee
No shrinkage, distortion or expansion
Formally known as
TR 220 / Cerami-Tech HTX / 517 HTX
