Description

This is a one-component, white or grey, high solids, brushable liquid, formulated as a high performance, electrometric, weather barrier coating that is designed for the permanent repair of leaks on roofs and waterproofing roof decks.
IPN ELASTIC MEMBRANE is a micro-porous film that prevents water from penetrating the film but allows trapped moisture to escape. This breathable, flexible polymeric membrane is designed for use with reinforcing fabric and provides the ultimate protection for roofs. Being liquid applied, it produces a seamless water barrier that fully adheres to the roof deck. It is designed for "Problem Areas" in roofs due to its very high performance.
Repairs are cost effective, instant, and simple, designed for use by in-house personnel. IPN ELASTIC MEMBRANE does not require primers or top coats and cures to a durable, non-tacky, highly reflective elastomer which remains resistant to weathering and dirt pick-up for years.

100% polyester stichbonded fabric using state-of-art technology. The outstanding physical strength properties, quick wet-out and saturation characteristics, unique elongation features, and ease of handling and application, make it the best quality fabric available for use with IPN ELASTIC MEMBRANE.

 
IPN ELASTIC MEMBRANE METAL CONDITION AID - (FOR USE WITH FERROUS METAL ROOFS ONLY):
One-coat, high performance, brushable, 38% solids, zinc rich, 100% acrylic emulsion polymer which utilizes a non-toxic corrosion inhibitor system. Designed for Ferrous Metal Roofs (galvanized metal, iron and steel) and is applied prior to the use of ELASTIC MEMBRANE. It develops excellent moisture resistance quickly so that after surface preparation and before application of IPN ELASTIC MEMBRANE, rust formation is arrested.

STAYS FLEXIBLE
Designed to move with the expansion and contraction of roofs. IPN ELASTIC MEMBRANE keeps the cracks and joints well sealed by stretching over these openings to maintain water tightness.

MICRO-POROUS
The high quality of advanced elastomer used in the formulation is the key factor in its water tightness. IPN ELASTIC MEMBRANE allows trapped moisture from the building interior to pass through the film, while maintaining its water tightness. This UNIQUE breathing feature is known as "Micro-porousness".

OUTSTANDING ADHESION
To many surfaces like masonry, concrete, gravel, brick, plywood, foam, roof shingles, cap sheet, galvanized metal, and bitumen makes IPN ELASTIC MEMBRANE a very versatile material.

EXCELLENT RESISTANCE TO TEMPERATURE EXTREMES
IPN ELASTIC MEMBRANE stays flexible down to -34^oC without cracking and endures high temperature under direct sun rays in summer without being damaged.

EXCELLENT FIRE RETARDANCY
IPN ELASTIC MEMBRANE meets the requirements for CLASS A rating. The fire retarding agents used in the formulation are non-migratory, providing long term fire protection.

OUTSTANDING UV PROTECTION
Provides excellent protection from the destructive effects of UV.

PRIMERS NOT NECESSARY
IPN ELASTIC MEMBRANE is "Self-Priming". Most roofing membranes require different primers for different substrates because they are based on older or even obsolete technologies. External plasticizer are formulations plasticizers aids that make coatings flexible. Since they are not an "Integral Part Of The Polymeric Chain", they tend to migrate out to the surface in time, leaving behind a dry, cracked roof coating. There is no such danger with IPN ELASTIC MEMBRANE as it is "Internally Plasticized"

STRUCTURALLY LIGHT
When used over insulating foam, IPN ELASTIC MEMBRANE provides the complete roof structure with excellent insulation properties without the tremendous dead weight associated with gravel used with hot tar.

EASY TO USE
No need for outside contracting. In-House personnel can easily be trained to use with minimum tools.
