CRACK INJECTION SYSTEM

An extremely versatile industrial repair kit that is designed for the structural repair of hairline cracks in concrete on a do-it-yourself basis.

Methodology involves injection of specialty formulated and packaged advanced polymer adhesives, using as equally special delivery system, into non-working cracks narrower than 3mm which penetrate through concrete such as those caused by cure shrinkage, settlement, and/or mechanical overload.

Dowel Bar Anchoring, Anchor Bolt Bonding, Expansion and Joint Sealing.

This CRACK INJECTION SYSTEM is also used for injecting, with bottom-fill cartridges specifically designed for this purpose, into METAL voids, cavities, cracks or molds and similar discontinuities to produce "Bubble-Free" build-up of thick sections in a void-free manner with metal repair products such as IPN ULTRAMETAL and IPN AQUAMETAL; and pump repair products such as IPN GEL CERAMIC and IPN FLUID CERAMIC.
IPN FLUID CERAMIC will provide solid support for hollow wearing rings and welded metal plates due to its fluidity. Mining and Quarrying equipment, merchant and military marine, ships and shipyards represents typical uses.

Unlike most sealants on the market today which provide mostly cosmetic repairs, the CRACK INJECTION SYSTEM provides structural repairs which restore the integrity of structures

REPAIR IS PERMANENT
While most commercially available inexpensive sealants provide a "Band-Aid" approach to crack repair, the CRACK INJECTION SYSTEM provides permanent repairs. Laboratory tests have shown that extreme freeze/thaw cycles deteriorated concrete but not the bondline where cracks are repaired using IPN CRACK INJECTION SYSTEM adhesives.

REPAIR ACTUALLY STRENGTHENS CONCRETE
That's Right! - ASTM C-39 tests have shown that compressive strength of concrete was actually improved by 10 - 30% after repair with IPN CRACK INJECTION SYSTEM. Higher design strengths are made possible

PHENOMENAL BOND STRENGTH TO CONCRETE
Portland cement concrete fails first when bonded to it and tested. This tremendous adhesion capability far exceeds engineering specifications and enables one to do those concrete repairs without sacrificing design strength or safety.
Positive bond is also achieved to other masonry or metal surfaces.

HIGH-MODULUS: 300,000 PSI
Means high resistance to deformation and will not creep under sustained load. This fact, coupled with high bond strength turns "Dream Repairs" into reality.

NON-POROUS
No cracks or capillaries either. This means that IPN CRACK INJECTION SYSTEM does not retain water in its body. Water is the single most important source of gradual destruction in concrete. As you know, water expands by freezing and cracks concrete. Water also completes the requirements of an "Electrochemical cell" in steel reinforced concrete causing corrosion. Rust build-up due to corrosion shatters concrete. Since there is no microstructure menaces like pores to retain water, there is no need to worry about FREEZE/THAW damage or rusting in an IPN CRACK INJECTION SYSTEM.

WATERPROOF
IPN CRACK INJECTION SYSTEM adhesives are impervious to moisture and de-icing chemicals. This means that direct or indirect damage by the presence of water can be safely disregarded.

EASY TO USE
No need for outside contracting. In-House personnel can easily be trained to use with minimum tools.
