Description

A three-component, grey, trowelable, USDA APPROVED, mortar, formulated as a HIGH PERFORMANCE, chemical and abrasion resistant, concrete repair compound.

PHENOMENAL BOND STRENGTH TO CONCRETE
Portland cement concrete fails first when bonded to it and tested in "Slant Shear". This tremendous adhesion capability and shear strength far exceeds engineering specifications and enables one to do those concrete repairs without sacrificing design strength or safety. Positive bond is also achieved to other masonry or metal surfaces.

Heavy-duty requirements in steel-wheel traffic loading / unloading areas are easily accommodated with IPN CRYSTAL QUARTZ.

EXTREME ABRASION RESISTANCE: 40mg wt.loss/1000 cycles.
Ideal for extreme wear surfaces. IPN CRYSTAL QUARTZ makes you "Leap-Frog" into the space age of man-made materials.

HIGHEST "ROCKWELL HARDNESS" IN THE INDUSTRY: R110, M65.
This "Super-Concrete" is suitable for almost all concrete repairs imaginable. Hardness is not a limitation.

CHEMICAL BOND BETWEEN LAYERS
Makes "Seamless" floors possible. Moreover, there are no mechanical fracture planes to worry about.

COMPLIES WITH LOW VOC REGULATIONS
Extreme stringent new "Volatile Organic Compounds" regulations have already made hundreds of coatings "Obsolete". Since CRYSTAL QUARTZ contains no solvent, you can safely specify and use it in any industrial environment, indoors or outdoors.

HIGH-MODULUS: 300,000 PSI
Means high resistance to deformation and will not creep under sustained load. This fact, coupled with high bond strength turns "Dream Repairs" into reality.

MOST SUITABLE COEFFICIENT OF THERMAL EXPANSION: 36x10^-6 cm/cm^oC
Thermal cycling during operation will not cause delaminating of repair because IPN CRYSTAL QUARTZ is carefully formulated to "Move With The concrete". This minimizes FREEZE/THAW scaling and spalling and results in lasting performance because shear stresses at bond line caused by sudden changes in temperature are not high. ALL-IN-ONE VERSATILITY
You can create a non-sag mortar for rebuilding vertical sections: pourable grout for repairing cracks: or thin coating for sealing concrete: all by adjusting the aggregate content. No need to purchase, stock and learn to use several different products.

NON-POROUS
No cracks or capillaries either. This means that CRYSTAL QUARTZ does not retain water in its body. Water is the single most important source of gradual destruction in concrete. As you know, water expands by freezing and cracks concrete. Water also completes the requirements of an "Electrochemical cell" in steel reinforced concrete causing corrosion. Rust build-up due to corrosion shatters concrete. Since there is no microstructural menaces like pores to retain water, there is no need to worry about FREEZE/THAW damage or rusting in CRYSTAL QUARTZ.

NON-RUSTING
CRYSTAL QUARTZ's non-ferrous composition is the key to its non-rusting/non-corroding nature. And the fact that it is non-porous also helps. The net result is long rust-free service.

WATERPROOF
Standard mix is waterproof at 6.35mm. Soupy mixes are waterproof at even thinner overlays. CRYSTAL QUARTZ is impervious to moisture and de-icing chemicals. This means that direct or indirect damage by the presence of water can be safely disregarded. It also means easy maintenance. CRYSTAL QUARTZ is easily cleaned with detergent and water.

VAPOUR-PROOF OR "CONTROLLED BREATHING:
Because of its highly engineered nature, CRYSTAL QUARTZ can be made vapour proof or designed to "Breathe" at controlled rates by adjusting the thickness of overlay or polymer content in mix or both. Where attacks of air-born industrial chemicals coupled with moisture penetration presents a problem, We suggest that a standard mix be applied at 6.35mm thickness.

FACTORY-PROPORTIONED PACKAGING.
Easy to mix and apply because BASE:SOLDIFIER ratio of 3:1 by volume is kept during packaging of components so that you don't have to weigh or measure anything during repair. Just mix all contents.

EASY TO USE
No need for outside contracting. In-House personnel can easily be trained to use with minimum tools.

SPLITTABLE UNITS
You can mix full or partial units, so you do not waste any material by mixing more than the repair requires.

INDEFINITE SHELF LIFE
