Thortex Aqua-Tech W.P. is a high performance, simple to use non-silicone transparent water repellent system designed for application to exterior surfaces.
It is based upon a unique blend of water repellent resins, specifically developed to produce a coating which provides up to 10 years water repellence on a wide range of exterior surfaces including concrete, asbestos, brickwork, natural and artificial stone without affecting the natural appearance of the surface.

Aqua-Tech W.P. is micro-porous, allowing the material beneath to breathe and meets the requirements of BS6477:1984 for brickwork and masonry surfaces. It is supplied ready for use as a single component polymer. One coat is usually sufficient.

Using simple air blasting equipment to prepare the surface

 

All that is required to successfully prepare the surface if badly marked or damaged.

 

It is NOT normally necessary to blast clean the surface UNLESS
embedded graffiti marks must be removed, as in this example.

 

Simple brushing with a stiff bristle brush is usually perfectly
acceptable for surface preparation. Nothing could be easier!

 

Aqua-Tech W.P is ready for application straight from the container!

 

Application by hand-spray equipment. Simple but effective and cost effective.
This product can also be applied by brush or roller system - as required.

Application of Aqua-Tech W.P is always started at the highest point of the
structure and then continued downwards.
