APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
SAFETY PRECAUTION
Before opening or working with Fluorolast products, please refer to the MSDS for safety information.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Prepare surfaces according to these guidelines. STEEL SURFACES: Before sandblasting, remove all traces of oil and grease using a suitable detergent, followed by a clean-water washing. All steel surfaces should be sandblasted to white metal in accordance with NACE specification #1. CONCRETE SURFACES: New surfaces must age at least 28 days. All construction dust and loose contaminants, etc., must be removed. Old surfaces should be cleaned to remove any surface contaminants such as stains, previous coatings, etc. A hydroblast or sandblast is highly recommended. OTHER SURFACES: All materials (rubber, plastic, wood, fabric, etc.) should be clean and free of surface contaminants.  Contact our Coatings Research laboratory for more information.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Fluorolast WB-100 Series is a heat curable water-borne coating. Stir well before use. Use distilled water to thin.

MULTIPLE COATS APPLICATION
Apply multiple coats to obtain the total DTF that you desire. Coatings should be dry to touch before applying another coat (approximately 20 minutes).
CURING
The coating is normally dry to touch within 20 minutes at 70° F and 50% RH. The dry film should be oven cured for 1 hour at 212° F.

COATING STORAGE
The coating should be used within three months of the date received. To ensure a 3 month profile, the coating should be stored at 50 to 72° F, and must be stirred or agitated once a week.
CLEANUP PROCEDURE
Use warm water and a suitable detergent for washing followed by a thorough warm water rinse.
