with Fluorolast products, please refer to the MSDS for safety information.

SURFACE
PREPARATION
Prepare surfaces according to these guidelines. STEEL
SURFACES: Before sandblasting, remove all traces of oil and grease using
a suitable detergent, followed by a clean-water washing. All steel surfaces
should be sandblasted to white metal in accordance with NACE specification
#1. CONCRETE SURFACES: New surfaces must age at least 28 days. All construction
dust and loose contaminants, etc., must be removed. Old surfaces should
be cleaned to remove any surface contaminants such as stains, previous
coatings, etc. A hydroblast or sandblast is highly recommended. OTHER
SURFACES: All materials (rubber, plastic, wood, fabric, etc.) should be
clean and free of surface contaminants.
Contact our Coatings Research laboratory for more information. |
