APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
SAFETY PRECAUTION
Before opening or working with Fluorolast products, please refer to the MSDS for safety information.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Prepare surfaces according to these guidelines. STEEL SURFACES: Before sandblasting, remove all traces of oil and grease using a suitable detergent, followed by a clean-water washing. All steel surfaces should be sandblasted to white metal in accordance with NACE specification #1. CONCRETE SURFACES: New surfaces must age at least 28 days. All construction dust and loose contaminants, etc., must be removed. Old surfaces should be cleaned to remove any surface contaminants such as stains, previous coatings, etc. A hydroblast or sandblast is highly recommended. OTHER SURFACES: All materials (rubber, plastic, wood, fabric, etc.) should be clean and free of surface contaminants. Contact our Coatings Research laboratory for more information.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Fluorolast SB is a two-component room temperature-curable coating. Add the catalyst to the coating and stir for 2-3 minutes. Allow an additional 10 minutes for a maturation period. Use MIBK or MEK to thin the coating. Use MEK or Acetone for cleanup. The precise amount of CA-20 accompanies the coating.

MULTIPLE COATS APPLICATION
Apply multiple coats to obtain the total dry film thickness (DTF) that you desire. Coating should be dry to touch before applying another coat (approximately 30 minutes).
CURING MATERIAL
Material will cure at room temperature in approximately 72 hours (70°F, 50% RH). To shorten cure time, please call for information.
COATING EXPIRATION / STORAGE
The coating may be stored for 2 years at 50° to 72°F if unopened and uncatalyzed. Do not store near high temperatures or open flames.
