Problem

This concerned an off-loading area for chemical delivery.

The operator wanted to change the delivery system to increase plant efficiency and drive down manufacturing costs by being able to accept BULK CARRIERS for all his HYDRONCARBON SOLVENT needs. The supplier insisted on a SAFE area to accommodate any spillage that derived from the BULK CARRIER system of delivery.
There was also a concern with the drainage system that takes leakage away to a bunded area.

 

 

Solution

Two coats of SUPERCLADDING were applied to the well prepared surfaces at 0.2mm thickness each. The DRAINAGE system that takes any incidental spillage away to the BUND compound was also coated with SUPERCLADDING.

 

 
RESULT:

This COST effective coating solution enabled a profitable resolution of an ongoing problem.
