Problem

A Powerplant had problems with their EXHAUST SYSTEM - as it was being attacked by SULPHURIC ACID VAPOURS.

The damage was observed after insulation around the exhaust system was removed. An EMERGENCY procedure was then put into effect - as the Powerplant could not be SHUT DOWN to carry out repairs.

The DISTRIBUTOR and ADVANCED POLYMERS came to the rescue with Advanced Polymer SUPERCLADDING.

 

Solution

The best possible surface preparation was carried out - whilst all Powerplant components were still in-situ.

Two coats of Advanced Polymer SUPERCLADDING were then applied "back to back".

The Powerplant did NOT have to go OFF-LINE to carry out this innovative repair!
