Problem

In a distillery using AUGERS for blending Mash & Syrup, the product was corroding the augers and STICKING to them - causing auger imbalance and continuous production difficulties.

 

Solution

After correct surface preparation (grit blasting to SA 2.5) the augers were coated with two coats of Advanced Polymer SUPERBARRIER.

This has eliminated auger CORROSION and considerably reduced the problems caused by material STICKING to the augers.
