Problem

This application was in a large Alumna manufacturer with HOT CAUSTIC holding tanks.
Problems had occured, where the previous protection system had broken down over a period of time when exposed to leakage.

 

Solution

After complete removal of the old coating materials - which included hand abrasion of the exposed surface - all damaged areas were filled with Advanced Polymer CRYSTAL QUARTZ.

 
All BUND areas were then coated with 2 coats of Advanced Polymer SUPERBARRIER at 0.2mm thickness. Application of SUPERBARRIER was by short nap rollers.
