EXAMPLE OF ADVANCED POLYMERS IN USE

Problem

A large manufacturer of concrete slabs and bricks had three concrete holding tanks for collecting SLURRY WASTE from a CONCRETE manufacture and GRINDING process. There was a high alkaline content in the slurry PLUS inclusion of OIL WASTE. These holding tanks were the last storage place for the slurry until it was taken away for cleaning.

The tanks had been eroded away by the product and PRODUCT was sticking to the floor and sides of the tanks, causing major problems.

Solution

The solution was to completely re-build all three tanks with concrete blocks and then SPRAY with Advanced Polymer VESSEL LINING. This not only WATERPROOFED the tanks but also protected them against further EROSION and PRODUCT ADHESION.
