A large power generation company uses fan blades to control FLUE GAS.
The working temperature is 150oC and Sulphuric Acid is present.
| Solution |
The Fan Blades were grit blasted to SA 2-1/2 finish. Cleaned with Advanced Polymer CLEAN AID and then two coats of Advanced Polymer SUPERBARRIER were applied.
The Fan Blades are now back in operation successfully. A Further 72 Fan Blades are planned to be coated with Advanced Polymer SUPERBARRIER shortly.
