Problem

An international mining company had problems with a 8" nb dejurick plug valve with nitrile rubber plug.

 

Solution

The plug was badly pitted but was prepared and filled with Advanced Polymer INSTARUBBER and MACHINED on the lathe.

Only a small amount of Advanced Polymer INSTARUBBER was used and the cost of this repair made SIGNIFICANT savings on a replacement new valve.
The valve is back in service and operating successfully
