Problem

A large end suction centrifugal pump volute case was being subject to extreme abrasion from paper stock. There was also attack from Clo2 as can be seen from the pictures.

Solution

Advanced Polymer GEL CERAMIC was mixed with SilCar powder and applied to worn and damaged areas to re-profile the inside diameter to size. Advanced Polymer FLUID CERAMIC was applied to the whole inside surface to prevent further abrasive wear from paper stock.
