Coal Dust was being moved through 60cm mild steel pipes and causing EXTREME abrasion on 30% of the inside diameter. This problem was causing the shutdown of plant at high cost to the power generator.
The coal dust is being driven by air/fan and the temperature can reach up to 150oC.

Advanced Polymer GEL CERAMIC is mixed with SilCar powder and applied to worn and damaged areas to re-profile the inside diameter to size. Advanced Polymer FLUID CERAMIC is applied to the whole inside surface to prevent further abrasive wear from coal dust.
