NO FLUSH WATERLESS ROTARY SEALING DEVICE

APPLICATION: Sugar refinery operating without shutdown or stoppage for 4 months of the year.

PROBLEM: Packing failing due to FLUSHING problems. Cost of continuous FLUSHING becoming unacceptable.

EQUIPMENT: WARMAN PUMP TYPE PG

APPLICATION DETAILS: Temperature of product 900C, Pressure 9 BAR, Product standard liqueur (high brix solids @ 80%).

SOLUTION: Fit NFW sets, TURN OFF FLUSH,

RESULT: Financial savings on NO MORE FLUSH, pump able to RUN DRY, therefore no leakage of expensive product. No pollution caused by LEAKING GLANDS to damage / contaminate environment or pump body. Infrequent gland adjustments.

 

THE COST OF FLUSHING

The cost of using a FLUSH is dependant upon not only the cost of the PRODUCT used to FLUSH, but also upon the quantity.
